Program Description

This lecture will discuss venous thromboembolism (VTE) prophylaxis for acutely ill medical patients, as well as a treatment option for patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and/or pulmonary embolism (PE), and how this treatment option may reduce the risk of recurrent thrombotic events.
